Post 147 - Sons of the American Legion


The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) at Northville, MI, an integral part of the Lloyd H. Green Post 147, has a proud tradition of honoring the service and sacrifice of veterans. Established to carry on the legacy of The American Legion, the SAL at Post 147 brings together male descendants of veterans who are dedicated to supporting the aims and purposes of the Legion. They actively engage in various programs and activities, including veterans assistance, youth mentorship, and patriotic observances. The Northville SAL squadron is committed to fundraising efforts that benefit veterans' causes, such as the Child Welfare Foundation and the Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service program. Their involvement strengthens the Post 147 community, providing valuable support to veterans, their families, and the broader Northville area.
